A MAJOR bank is set to re-open with temporary services after its branch was closed due to falling demand.
Barclays Bank branch on Broadway in Leigh welcomed its last customers on September 9, 2022.
The branch was closed along with 40 other branches due to falling demand.

To help residents with on-site baking, Barclays has announced temporary services will be set up to save residents from travelling to Southend or Rayleigh, the two nearest branches.
The temporary branch has opened in the Leigh Community Centre, in Elm Road.
A spokesman from Barclays said: "We're now at Leigh Community Centre every Wednesday between 9am and 5pm (closed 12.30pm to 1.30pm).

"Although there's no cash service, our staff members can help you with your everyday banking needs.
"You can just drop in for a chat when we're open, or search 'Barclays branch finder' to get directions or to book an appointment."
