Cineworld at 'Bas Vegas' is celebrating 25 years of welcoming customers to experience the magic of the big screen.
The cinema at Festival Leisure Park has welcomed millions of customers over the years, and to pay homage to the milestone anniversary it will be showing the first movie it opened with 25 years ago.
Tickets for the classic movie, Godzilla, will be just £4.50 and customers will also receive a free small popcorn with their ticket on the day.
A spokesman for Cineworld Basildon commented: "Be sure to leave plenty of time to join the birthday fun in our cinema foyer which will play host to some of your favourite characters, sing-a-longs, party games and snacks in the foyer.
"The cinema will also be hosting some brilliant giveaways across the weekend, giving customers the chance to win a years Unlimited membership and to have their own private screening!
"With incredible films playing this weekend like Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning Part One, Elemental and Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny, it’s the perfect time to come down and celebrate this special birthday weekend."
The celebrations will take place from Saturday July 15 to Monday July 17.
Godzilla will be showing on Monday July 17 at 7pm.
Basildon’s Festival Leisure Park - affectionately known as Bas Vegas – opened in 1997 and welcomes more than 3.2 million visitors a year.
Once home to a famous superclub, it now boasts a number of businesses including the cinema, a bowling alley and an array of restaurants.
