"Traffic officers remain on the scene, and service providers are en route. There are delays of 20 minutes in the area."
This comes after experts at the Met Office have issued a yellow weather warning for heavy showers and thunderstorms across Essex today (August 5).
Forecasters warned this may lead to some flooding and travel disruption while the warning is in place, from 11am to 10pm.
