A MAJOR road in Essex has been closed after a lorry has reportedly hit a bridge in Essex.
Traffic is currently not moving on the A13 in both directions as the road has been shut.
It is reported that a bridge has been struck by a vehicle – believed to be a lorry.

The incident is near the junction with A1306 (Wennington Interchange). Congestion is back to Rainham eastbound, and half a mile Londonbound.
According to AA Traffic News, a lorry reportedly hit the bridge just after 12pm on the A13 eastbound.
Essex Police has been contacted for comment by the Echo.
