A PAEDOPHILE was caught in a hotel room in Basildon with a 15-year-old girl after sending her videos of him performing sex acts.
Alfie Davies, 19, of Rye Mead Basildon, has been jailed for more than two years for the vile crimes after the victim's dad found the explicit messages on her phone.
Davies, who was already subject of a sexual harm prevention order, was found in a hotel in Basildon with his victim.
The pair spoke through text messages, Snapchat and Instagram and Davies sent a video of himself performing a sexual act to the victim on Snapchat.
He also arranged for the pair to meet in Laindon which was discovered through train tickets purchased ahead of the meeting.
He was jailed by Judge Samantha Leigh yesterday at Basildon Crown Court.

She said: "Mr Davies you are here because of offending in January this year.
"You sent messages of an explicit nature to the victim in breach of the sexual harm prevention order.
"I agree that this is a very serious breach."
Davies was originally subject to a child abduction warning notice from November 12, 2021 to June 26 this year.
On June 12 he was arrested on child abduction and sex offences, placed on the sex offenders register and issued a new sexual harm prevention order, set to expire in October 2032.
Between January 16 and March 12 this year, Davies contacted the victim and sent pictures of himself to her.
The victim's father found the explicit messages on his daughter's phone and contacted the police.
Davies was arrested on March 13 and pleaded guilty at the earliest opportunity.
He was originally in breach of a suspended sentence for the possession of an offensive weapon in November 2022, for which he was given a suspended sentence of 24 months.
Davies was also given discharge for two years, on the condition that he must not contact a female child under the age of 16.
Judge Leigh added: "Had there been a trial you would receive a four-year sentence but are entitled to full credit for your guilty plea."
Davies was sentenced to two years and four months in prison and is to serve half on licence.
