A man has been arrested in south Essex after the failed importation of a haul of cannabis hidden in chests and cabinets.
The National Crime Agency (NCA) has launched an investigation after 250 kilos of cannabis was discovered at Southampton Docks in a coverload of metal tool chests and cabinets.

NCA officers launched the probe after Border Force colleagues uncovered the Class B drugs in a shipping container on July 26.
On Tuesday (August 15), officers arrested a man in his 30s from Grays in connection with the failed importation.
He was interviewed and released pending further enquiries.
