A LARGE cordon has shut off a part of Southend High Street and forensic teams have been spotted carrying out investigations.
Essex Police is yet to confirm details of the incident, which is believed to have happened at around 5.30pm yesterday.
The area that was sealed off was just outside of Greggs on Southchurch Road.
It is claimed a person was treated by paramedics.
A police forensic officer was at the scene, with officers standing guard.
The Echo has contacted Essex Police for a comment.
