A MOTORCYCLIST has died after a single-vehicle crash on High Road in Pitsea on Monday night.
Essex Police were called to an incident on High Road by paramedics, as a motorcyclist appeared to have been involved in a single-vehicle crash.
Sadly, despite the best efforts from the emergency services, the motorcyclist died at the scene.
Police have said their next of kin have been informed and they are being supported by specialist officers.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: "We are appealing for any information about a collision in Pitsea on the bank holiday weekend.
“We were called by paramedics to reports of a collision in High Road at about 10.40pm on Monday 28 August.
“A motorcyclist appeared to have been involved in a single-vehicle collision and sadly, despite the best efforts of the emergency services, died at the scene.
“Their next of kin have been informed and they are being supported by specialist officers.
“At this stage we do not believe there has been any third-party involvement in this collision.
