A large hoarding has been put in place across Southend seafront attracting the attention of curious visitors.
Residents and day-trippers who visited over bank holiday weekend may have noticed the long temporary fence in Western Esplanade.
The hoarding is set to be transformed this weekend, when more than 30 street artists will fill the space with incredible street art.
It is part of Southend City Jam, which claims to be Europe's largest street art festival, coming to the city from September 1 to 3.
Southend will come alive not only with vibrant street art, but also live music and delicious street food.
A host of activities will be taking place throughout the city centre, and this year will see the entertainment spill onto Southend Pier and the seafront.
At the Pier, 31 incredible street artists will be showcasing their skills live, while festival-goers can indulge in the street food and live music from a range of solo, duo, and acoustic bands, as well as other Essex musicians and performers.
The whole festival will feature more than 200 national and international artists who will transform the sides of buildings, large cubes, temporary walls, and more in the city centre and seafront over the three jam-packed days.
