POLICE continue to hunt for a man after a man was punched multiple times and given cuts to his face in a serious assault.
Officers investigating an assault in Grays in June are releasing an e-fit image of a man they want to speak with in connection with this investigation.
The force was called to Longhouse Road at about 10pm on June 27 following reports of a man being assaulted.
Police say the victim was approached by a man who confronted him before punching him in the face multiple times.
The assault left the victim with injuries including a laceration to his eyebrow.
The suspect is described as a black man in his early 20s who drove a black BMW.
A spokesman said: “Enquiries into this assault have remained ongoing and officers are now releasing an e-fit image of a man we would like to speak with.
“If you recognise him or have any further information, please get in contact.”
