A popular fast food chain is set to open a new restaurant in Basildon town centre creating 30 new jobs.
Burger King has officially announced it will be opening the new restaurant at Westgate Retail Park, making the town home to three branches.
The new burger joint will bring 30 jobs to the town, with recruitment for team members to join the Burger King family now open.

It is also recruiting 25 restaurant crew members, spanning both front of house and kitchen roles, and applications for these will open at a later date.
Those who are successful in joining the team will enjoy a variety of staff perks including free meals at work and 50 per cent off food and drink for friends and family.

The plans to transform the former Maplin store at the retail park into a Burger King restaurant were approved by Basildon Council in April.
