A POPULAR cocktail bar in Southend High Street will be turning into a “Pup Up” Cafe for one-day only.
Organiser Pup Up Cafe will be taking over Revolution, in Queens Road, on Sunday, October 8, for a fun day bringing dog breed communities together.
The event will kick-off with Dachshunds between 10am and 1.30pm; followed by pugs from 2pm to 3.30pm, and then Doodles at 4pm until 5.30pm.
All three sessions consist of mingling with up to 50 of the breeds, unlimited puppuccinos and treats for the dogs, and professional pictures.
There will also be the opportunity to browse at products by dog businesses in and around the city.
Bosses ask visitors to arrive 15 minutes before their session and form a queue outside the venue.
Dogs go free, and owners are charged £10 – including a 50p fee – for tickets to one of the three sessions.
Non-dog owners will be asked to pay £15.50 and under eights £5.50 – including a 50p fee – to get access to one of the three sessions.
