NESTLED away in the picturesque Belfairs Park in Leigh sits a restaurant which prides itself on its friendly service and mouthwatering dishes. 

The Inn at Belfairs is a firm favourite among residents in the area and those further afield. 

Now, thanks to that loyal support from customers TripAdvisor has revealed that the Inn at Belfairs is in the top ten per cent of restaurants across the world with the most positive reviews. 

Manager Greg Weller, 35, and his business partner Jeremy Bushell, 36, are on cloud nine and cannot thank the “incredible staff and loyal customers” enough.

Mr Weller said: “To have this accolade come through from TripAdvisor means the absolute world to us.

“There are often problems associated with website review sites, such as people creating fake accounts and leaving negative reviews, but I’m so thankful that hasn’t happened and people are being truthful about their experience with us.

“This award means we have consistently maintained the great reviews, and that is all thanks to our incredible staff going above and beyond each day.

“Thank you so much to everyone who has come into the restaurant. Without you, we would not be here and in this situation.”

The pair took over from the former Belfairs Park Bar and Restaurant in 2019 and since then, they have focussed on friendly service and mouthwatering dishes, all of which has made diners come back time and time again.

One couple said on TripAdvisor: “We both had excellent portions of fish and chips, served by polite and smiling staff. After our walk we popped back for a cup of tea. Again, the staff were happy and helpful. We would definitely go back.

While another added: “Absolutely love this place. The staff are all amazing. Never had a bad meal and the Guinness is perfect.”

According to Mr Weller, their most popular dish is the £17.75 Mediterranean Stuffed Chicken, which consists of a chicken breast stuffed with vegetables, creamy mozzarella with tomato salsa, and avocado and mint yoghurt.

Speaking about their secret to success, Mr Weller added: “It is simply having great food, friendly and smiley staff, and making sure the restaurant is clean at all times.”
