IT may be autumn, but more sun is around the corner as Essex prepares for some more October sun.

The Met Office says the weather will be “dry with clear skies”, adding there will be “plenty of sunshine” in what will be “very warm for the time of year”.

On what to expect on Saturday, a spokesman for the Met Office said: “Early mist and fog patches gradually clearing to reveal a fine, dry day with variable cloud and plenty of sunshine.

“Becoming very warm for the time of year. Maximum temperature 22 °C.”

On the outlook for Sunday to Tuesday, they added: “Fine and very warm by day throughout this period, although some rather chilly and foggy starts in some areas.”
