A MAN has been taken to hospital after a crash in Wickford.
Essex Police was called to Radwinter Road shortly before 4pm on Saturday (October 7).
The man, who is in his 20s and was driving a blue BMW, was taken to hospital for treatment on multiple fractures and internal injuries.
From a picture posted on Facebook, the blue vehicle and a grey Ford mini-bus crashed into each other, with debris all over the road.
As a result, police sealed off the section where the incident happened.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: “We were called to reports of a collision in Radwinter Road, Wickford shortly before 4pm on Saturday, October 7.
“A car and a mini-van were involved.
“The driver of the BMW was taken to hospital for treatment on multiple fractures and internal injuries.
“If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.
“Please quote incident 844 of 7 October.”
