Police seized cash and drugs after an e-bike rider was detained at Canvey lake.
Officers were conducting Operation Falcon patrols on Canvey when they arrested a 23-year-old man, of no fixed abode, on suspicion of drugs offences.
The man was seen on an e-bike and tried to flee police offices before he was detained at the lake after a chase, police say.
He was searched before police officers seized a quantity of drugs and cash.

Essex Police shared images on social media at the weekend of pound notes and the several bags of drugs seized during the arrest last week.
A spokesman for Essex Police in Castle Point shared: "A 23-year-old man of no fixed abode was arrested for drugs offences by Op Falcon officers conducting patrols on Canvey on October 17.
"He was seen on a e-bike and tried to evade officers, but was detained at the lake. He was searched and drugs and cash were found and seized.
"The man was interviewed, charged and remanded to appear at court on October 19."
Operation Falcon is aiming to disrupt criminal activity on Canvey and throughout the Castle Point borough.
