AN AMBULANCE and a rapid response vehicle rushed to a Southend McDonald’s to treat a teenage girl in need.
At 9.38pm last night (October 25), the East of England Ambulance Service were called with reports that a girl collapsed on the floor in the Eastern Avenue branch.
After being treated by the crews, the patient was transported to Southend Hospital for further assessment and care.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 9.38pm on Wednesday, October 25, with reports that a teenage girl was in need of a medical assessment on Eastern Avenue, in Southend.
“An ambulance and rapid response vehicle were sent to the scene.
“The patient was transported to Southend Hospital for further assessment and care.”
