RESIDENTS in south Essex love their tasty treats and one favourite is the classic and simple cheese toastie.
The nation’s first ever cheese toastie day was yesterday, October 27, and we compiled a list of the five best places in south Essex to grab a cheese toastie.

This spot in the Royals Shopping Centre offers delectable toasties alongside their cakes and coffees to provide an excellent breakfast or brunch experience

This Wickford coffee shop in New Life Church Crouch Valley is ideal for customers looking to grab a quick bite for breakfast, brunch or lunch toasties.

“The people who work there are so friendly and nice and the food is very quick.
