A CORDON was reportedly spotted outside Asda in Shoebury last night as "police attended an incident”.
A witness claimed seeing a cordon being put up around an area between Asda and George by Asda in Shoebury at around 7:30pm.
They also told the Echo that there were officers on the scene – “searching around”.
The witness added: “As I was leaving Asda after doing my shopping, there were police coming in to Asda.
“I then saw them put up a cordon and searching on the green between Asda and George shop.”
At this stage, it is unclear why a cordon was in place and what the incident is.
However, Essex Police has been contacted for comment by the Echo. Alongside Asda and the East of England Ambulance Service.
