Canvey Island Rugby club held a fancy dress Movember fundraiser and raised thousands in the process.
The club hosted a 32 hour cycling event on Saturday to raise money for Movember and men's mental health.
More than 72 cyclists took part from the club's senior mens and womens (Valkyries) teams and raised more than £1,000 for charity on the day and a total of more than £2,000 for Movember.
Players at the club have also been growing out their facial hair, a staple of the Movember.
The club also thanked Lifestyle Fitness gym for providing the bikes for the day as the rugby team cycled 1,115km, the equivalent of Canvey Island to the South of France.
George Davis, head of media at the rugby club, said "Twenty eight women got involved in raising money for Movember, showcasing how men’s mental health can affect everyone, not just males.
"Canvey also express their gratitude and thanks to the number of people who answered the clubs call to action and cycled from sunrise to sunset."
