If you dream of owning a home in Spain a leading Southend property show could help you find the perfect match.
The Spanish Property Show returns this weekend, showcasing hundreds of properties just weeks after easyJet announced it was resuming flights from Southend to Alicante.
It means the airline, popular with south Essex residents, has made it easier than ever to fly to a holiday home on the Costa Blanca or Costa Calida.
Supported by UK-based expert Paul Payne, the show is due to be held at The Holiday Inn at Southend Airport on Sunday.
Thorpe Bay resident Mary Coulburn said: “We met with Paul Payne at a property show earlier this year. He organised a great viewing trip for us to the area and we got the keys to our new apartment near Alicante in May.
“We have already had a few holidays with the family and we’re now planning to make a longer stay in January and February to get away from the winter here in England.”
With easyJet resuming its year-round flight schedule from London Southend to Alicante, interest from buyers in the region seeking quick access to a second home in Spain is said to be higher than ever.
Currently, brand new two-bedroom apartments starting at £140,000 and independent luxury villas with private pools from £260,000 have proven popular with buyers seeking a second home or retiring to the sun.
The Spanish Property Show allows potential buyers to get legal, financial and residency advice all under one roof.
Prospective buyers wishing to check properties out for themselves can take part in tailor-made viewing trips for £79 per person - with all expenses covered including flights and accommodation.
Entry and parking are free to visitors of The Spanish Property Show that runs from 10am to 4pm.
