DRIVERS are facing delays on top of rush-hour traffic this morning following a multi-vehicle crash on a busy road.
One lane on the A12's London-bound carriageway has become blocked following a serious smash involving four vehicles, which was first reported at 6.38am.
Motorists are being warned to expect congestion from Junction 20 at Hatfield Peverel to Junction 19 at Boreham as a result of the incident.
Traffic control said: "A12 London London-bound: The J20 from Hatfield Peverel to J19 Boreham has one lane blocked by an accident involving four vehicles."
Essex Police has been contacted for more information.
