A drum head from one of Coldplay's world tour signed and doodled on by Will Champion is set to go under the hammer in Essex on Monday.

A homelessness charity is set to benefit from the generosity of the Coldplay drummer and his fellow bandmates as it goes on auction next week.

The drum head was used by the band at their Zurich show in July this year during the Music Of The Spheres world tour and was donated directly by the band to help the Justlife Foundation.

The piece of British rock memorabilia will be auctioned off as part of Rayleigh-based Stacey's Auctioneers music and entertainment sale in Great Baddow.

Auctioneer Mark Stacey said: “This is a marvellous piece of rock memorabilia donated by the band to benefit a very worthy cause.

“We are proud to be asked to assist in auctioning this item and we are sure it will appeal to rock and pop memorabilia collectors  and fans of the band alike.”

The Music of the Spheres World Tour is Coldplay's ongoing eighth concert tour and marked a return to live performing after the Covid pandemic.

The Justlife Foundation works within the community in Manchester and Brighton with the hidden homeless and those in temporary accommodation.
