A CANVEY man was found suspended by a ligature at his home address, a coroner has said at an inquest opening.
Emergency services attended the home of 47-year-old Darren Greer on Tuesday, November 7, with paramedics confirming his death that afternoon.
The inquest into Mr Greer’s death was opened by area coroner for Essex, Michelle Brown.
She said: “Police confirmed there were no suspicious circumstances and on Monday, November 20, a post-mortem conducted at Southend Hospital gave a provisional cause of death as hanging, awaiting toxicology.
