Seven people have been arrested with 12 vehicles seized as part of a police crackdown targeting dangerous drivers in Southend and Chelmsford.
Offences included dangerous driving, drug driving, theft of a motor vehicle, drugs offences and immigration offences.
Adam Pipe, head of roads policing, said: “It is a priority to keep you safe on our roads and tackle criminals using our roads to commit crime.
“This was a successful operation and meant we were able identify those who pose a danger to you.
“Our message is clear: If you drive dangerously, if you drink or drug drive, if you put others at risk - we will deal with you.”
Essex Police’s Road Crime Team led an operation targeting those endangering road users between Southend and Chelmsford on Saturday, November 25.
Twelve vehicles were seized for insurance and driving licence offences, and one stolen vehicle was recovered.
