STARBUCKS is hiring for its new Basildon coffee shop with a recruitment drive event today to form a team of talented baristas.
From 12pm to 2pm, those interested in becoming a member of the new team at the St Hilary's retail park site can pop into the Advice Store, in Market Pavement.
No booking is required, people can just go in with their CV to apply and have a chat with the recruiter.
It comes as Yorkshire-based electrician firm KM Sparks have moved into unit four of the Miles Gray Road site, opposite Pipps Hill, to sort power, data and mechanical works.
The new retail park is already home to Lidl, Greggs, Tile and Bathroom Mountain, Lok’nStore self-storage and Magnet.
The firm said they are working hard to achieve the December 20 handover date, with the two-storey cafe believed to be opening the following day.
In a Facebook post by Basildon Council, it said: “Exciting news. The Advice Store is hosting a Starbucks recruitment drive for the new St Hilary's retail park branch (opposite Basildon Sporting Village).
“No need to book, just drop in and have chat with the recruiter. Bring your CV for a chance to shine.”
