A 79-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a crash.
Police arrested a 79-year-old man from Benfleet on December 5, following the crash.
Essex Police claim the man blew 62 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath, and he was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving.
The man was also taken to hospital as a precaution where a blood sample was taken.
Police have interviewed the man and await blood results.
