Police investigation a reported assault at a High Street pub have issued an update on their appeal.
Essex Police had issued an appeal for the public’s help to identify two men in connection with the ongoing investigation into an assault in Rayleigh.
Officers were called to the Spread Eagle pub on Rayleigh High Street at around 1.20am on October 29 following reports of a man being assaulted.
The victim sustained injuries to their ankle.
The force has now confirmed the two men have been identified.
Enquiries remain ongoing and there have been no arrests made at this stage.
