A MAN has been charged with making threats to kill following a disturbance in Westcliff over the weekend.
Essex Police was called on Saturday following reports of a disturbance in Crowstone Road shortly after 7am.
The force said it was reported someone inside had been making threats and there were concerns for those in the property.
A woman was later left in the care of medical professionals.
Wayne Lambert, 42, of Crowstone Road, has been charged with “making threats to kill, threatening to destroy or damage property endangering life, threatening a person with an offensive weapon, bladed article, or corrosive substance in a private place, and sending a letter, communication or article conveying a threat”.
He is due to appear at Southend Magistrates’ Court today.
