A CYCLIST has been rushed to hospital after being knocked off a bike in Eastwood last night.
The incident happened between 11pm and midnight on the junction of Rayleigh Avenue and Rayleigh Road.
Crews were alerted of the incident just after 11.50pm and once at the scene, the man was transported to Southend Hospital, in Prittlewell Chase for further assessment and treatment.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “We were called just after 11.50pm on Wednesday, December 20 with reports that a man had been knocked off his bike on the junction of Rayleigh Avenue and Rayleigh Road.
“An ambulance was sent to the scene and transported the man to Southend Hospital for further assessment and treatment.”
