A man in his fifties was physically assaulted and had his car stolen following a robbery on Thursday in Brentwood, prompting police to launch an investigation.
Essex Police has reported that the individual was approached by two people in the car park of Sainsbury's, in William Hunter Way, at around 5.30pm on January 4.
The middle-aged man was attacked and had his vehicle stolen during the incident.
A 20-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy have been arrested in connection with a robbery in Brentwood.
Officers are now urging for witnesses to step forward, according to an Essex Police spokesman.
They said: "A 20 year-old man and a 15 year-old boy have been arrested on suspicion of robbery and are currently in custody.
"If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.
"Please quote the crime reference number 42/2060/24."
