A football fan who violently attacked two police officers after a match at the Emirates Stadium has been handed an eight-year banning order.
Bradley Prior, 38, of Brentwood, was earlier convicted of assaulting an emergency worker and criminal damage and appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court.
The court heard that officers were patrolling post-match in the vicinity of the Emirates after a game between Arsenal and Liverpool on March 16, 2022.
They came across Prior, who was being rude and confrontational towards Liverpool fans. The police said even after officers warned him a few times, he refused to stop.
Instead, police said he threw a beer at a female officer, lashed out at officers, and damaged a police radio.
He was arrested and one officer sustained injuries to her legs and hands in the process.

He was taken into custody before being released on bail but was later charged in October 2023.
He was sentenced to eight weeks imprisonment, suspended for one year, and ordered to pay compensation of £200 and costs of £300 on Tuesday (January 2).
He has also been given a Football Banning Order, stopping him from attending a football match for eight years.
Football Banning Officer PC Jack Muscatt, Central Football Unit, added that Prior was “extremely violent and aggressive on arrest” and was refusing to stop abusing Liverpool fans who were exiting the stadium.
He said: “We're very happy that he has been given a Football Banning Order.
“Everyone should be able to go to watch the football without fear of people like Prior ruining the occasion. It should be an example for anyone intent on causing trouble that we will pursue these kinds of punishments.”
Praising the officers for their composure, District Judge Mr Brennan said: “Thank you for your actions on the day, so many officers would allow behaviour like this to continue and not properly challenge fans.
“You and your colleague’s composure whilst dealing with Mr Prior was commendable as he was particularly violent throughout.”
