A NUMBER of big names and shows are coming to the city of Southend next month.
As we look ahead, today we take a look at some of the big names and shows coming to the Cliffs Pavilion in February 2024.
1. Romesh Ranganathan:
After a sell-out tour in 2022, Romesh is back with a brand-new show “Hustle”.
Romesh will be performing at the Cliffs Pavilion between Sunday, February 11, and February 13.
He will be “examining the human condition” in his new show including questions such as “are people inherently good? Is charity always a positive thing? Is hustling the key to success?”
You can join Romesh as he examines all of these issues and more while “providing no real answers”.

2. The Full Monty:
As in the 1997 smash hit film, this brand-new production is a rollercoaster ride of ups and downs, laughs, and heartbreak.
Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the film on a major national tour as it comes to the Cliffs Pavilion between February 6 to February 10.
There is an age restriction of 12+ as it contains “adult themes, depiction of suicide, and partial nudity”.

3. Sarah Millican:
“Late Bloomer” is Sarah’s new stand-up comedy show coming to the Cliffs Pavilion between February 15 and February 17.
When Sarah Millican was a child, she wouldn’t say boo to a goose. Quiet at school and not many friends. Now… “she is loud, with good friends, a cracking rack and goose booing all over the shop”.
In Late Bloomer, she explores how one became the other.
There is an age restriction of 16+.

4. The Wizard of Oz:
Direct from The London Palladium, the sensational new production of one of the world’s most beloved musicals comes to Southend.
Starring RuPaul’s Drag Race UK winner and Dancing On Ice star The Vivienne as The Wicked Witch Of The West and Gary Wilmot as The Wizard, this spectacular production will be truly magical for all the family.
