A BENFLEET road is set to be closed for two weeks for essential maintenance.

Seamore Avenue will shut from 8am on February 12 and will last until February 25 at 6pm.

This is due to UK Power Networks undertaking work to the overhead line.

There will be an alternative route in place – up Church Road, Moreland Avenue and Overton Road.

In a Facebook post by Castle Point Council, it said: “There will be a road closure on Seamore Avenue, due to commence on February 12, 2024, for 14 days.

“The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while UK Power Networks undertakes overhead line works.”
