Police have arrested a man in connection with an alleged assault and theft at Victoria Gardens in Rochford earlier this year.
On Saturday, Essex Police also confirmed they have ended an appeal to find Bradley Ryan Hayes, who officers had wanted to speak with in connection with the investigation.
Police also confirmed that a 34-year-old man has been arrested and bailed.
The incident, which took place on May 17, involved a victim being assaulted multiple times before having their bank card stolen.
Police then appealed for the public's help to find Hayes, who has links to Benfleet, Leigh, Eastwood, Rochford, Southend and Basildon.
Police thanked the public for their help with the investigation.
