AN ADORABLE seal has been spotted taking a stroll on the walkway at Southend Pier.
In photos, captured by Alan White, shows the seal on Southend Pier yesterday afternoon.
It is believed while the pier team dealt with the seal, the remainder of the visitor were taken back to land via the Sir David Amess train to minimise stress to the seal.

Visitors to the landmark watched on in delight to see the adorable sea-going animal.
This isn’t the first time this year a seal has been spotted in Southend, with one recently captured splashing about in the waves near the Pier.
