A man has reportedly been brought to safety by emergency crews after he was spotted on the roof of a multi-storey car park in Southend.
Two fire engines, three police cars and a community safety unit were sent to the scene in Chichester Road at around 4.45pm.
The road was shut off by emergency services while crews used a lift to retrieve the man from the top of the car park.
