ADVENTURE Island have confirmed the name for their new 38-metre drop tower ride in Southend.
Bosses are yet to reveal when the new ride will open but have now confirmed it will be called "Vertigo".
Work is continuing on the 38-metre drop tower which was announced last November.
The new ride, which is taller than the City Wheel, will be a 16-seater SBF Visa model.
In a post on Facebook confirming the name, Adventure Island say "Vertigo" is "coming soon to your favourite fun park".
Adventure Island has been contacted for comment by the Echo.
