A MAN has been taken to hospital after a crash involving two cars and a motorbike on the A127 near Rayleigh Weir.
The East of England Ambulance Service has confirmed a man has been transported to Southend Hospital following the crash.
As a result of the crash, the A127 Londonbound, near Rayleigh Weir, was closed for more than two and a half hours.

A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “We were called just after 8am to reports of a road traffic collision on the A127 in Rayleigh involving two cars and a motorbike.
“One ambulance was sent to the scene.
"One patient, an adult male, was transported to Southend University Hospital for further treatment."
Essex Police has been contacted for comment by the Echo.
