Delays are "likely" as part of a road near Southend city centre has been closed for investigation works.
First Bus services are being diverted following the eastbound and westbound closure of the underpass for investigation and survey works of the footbridge.

A First Essex spokesman shared on X: "Queensway underpass bridge inspection. Southend bus terminus closed. Where available, services will divert via Southend football ground, Victoria Avenue, Chichester Road. Services may terminate at Southend Hospital."
AA and Google traffic maps shows delays in surrounding roads, including the A13, Southchurch Road and Chichester Road.
The closure is expected to be lifted by 3pm.
