TRAIN travellers were being told to expect delays while Essex Police deal with an "incident" at a station in Colchester. 

Greater Anglia warned travellers of delays to services running through the station after an incident this afternoon.

In a statement, the train operator said: "Trains are subject to delay through Colchester while the police deal with an incident.

"If you are travelling to or from Colchester, please follow any advice given to you from station staff as trains may have short notice platform alterations."

Greater Anglia has confirmed that the disruption ended at around 3.50pm.
