POLICE have confirmed that a 13-year-old boy who had been reported missing after last being seen on Southend seafront today has now been found.
The boy was last seen near Adventure Island shortly after 6.30pm.
At midnight, Essex Police issued an update.
A spokesperson for Essex police has now said: "He is safe and well".
"Thank you to the thousands of people who shared our appeal to help find him. A member of the public who had seen our appeal saw him and quickly alerted us."
