A popular south Essex garden centre has transformed its VR ride into a new "jungle adventure" attraction for half-term.
Youngsters have been tasked with finding stolen precious crystals in Scott's of Southend's new "jungle gem stone adventure" VR ride this February half-term.
Following the success of the Sutton Road centre's fully immersive 4D ride throughout summer, Halloween and Christmas last year, this new virtual reality experience offers a unique family attraction for half-term.
A Scott's of Southend spokesman shared: "Our precious crystals have been stolen and we need your help to return them! Climb on board our boat, hold on tight and keep your eyes peeled for our gemstones!
"Prepare yourself, you’ll come face to face and under fire from all manner of jungle creatures and beasts; the fate of the Jungle depends on you – good luck explorers and mind out for those monkeys!"
Housed in an explorers jungle boat house, once aboard, youngsters will transported into the virtual boat house using the HD VR headsets. With the boat tilting forwards backwards and side to side, alongside two front fans and surround sound, children can enjoy a fully immersive 4D experience.
The ride can seat up to eight people and is advised for children over the age of two. Families can book their slot online at scottsofsouthend.digitickets.co.uk/tickets.
