You might not be surprised to learn that EastEnders’ schedule will be disrupted this week on BBC One.
The soap has been airing at different times recently due to various sporting events and this week it’s football causing the schedule shake-up.
Due to this, there will be some usual weekdays when it will not be on TV at all due to the FA Cup.
But fear not, as one day this week will see a double episode of the Albert Square drama.
#EastEnders is set to air two special episodes following Whitney Dean during her time in Milton Keynes. Whitney and Zack left Walford in January to visit Bianca but their visit has been far from smooth-sailing. The special episodes will cover five weeks’ worth of storyline. pic.twitter.com/0FvXNGz6SD

Why isn't EastEnders on TV tonight?
Tonight (February 27), EastEnders has been replaced with Match of the Day Live coverage from 7.30pm showing Blackburn Rovers v Newcastle United.
Gary Lineker is joined by Alan Shearer to present the fifth-round match at Ewood Park and commentary will be by Guy Mowbray (kick-off is 7.45pm).
EastEnders fans will also be disappointed to know there is no episode tomorrow (February 28) either.
At 7.30pm, more FA Cup coverage presented by Gary Lineker on Match of the Day Live will see Nottingham Forest take on Manchester United in the next fifth-round match at the City Ground, with kick-off at 7.45pm.
Wednesday’s commentary is by Sam Matterface and Ally McCoist, and reports from Gabriel Clarke.

BBC EastEnders fans ask for sport to have its 'own channel'
Reacting to this week’s schedule changes confirmed on X, formerly Twitter by @bbceastenders, one viewer said: “Football on itv and bbc1 at the same time, there is sport channels!!”
Another asked: “Why can't sport be put on its own channel??”
This person stated: “Great news that TNT sport are getting the FA Cup matches soon so the BBC/ITV don't have to keep showing them”

This fan queried: “Way back you told us Enders would now be Mon-Thurs 7.30 -8.00 (dropping the once a week 8.00-8.30) so that it wouldn't have to keep being disrupted.
“How's that working for you so far?”
One account replied: “I don't get why people complain just watch it on iPlayer as normal. That's what I'm doing.”
EastEnders continues on Thursday from 7.30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
