A BUSY road in part of a south Essex town centre is shut off after a water main burst in the High Street.
Water supplies around Rayleigh High Street were affected for around three hours yesterday evening after a leak.
Crown Hill remains closed this morning as a result of the burst water main, as repairs are carried out.

First Essex buses are reportedly providing shuttle buses again from Rayleigh Station to Hullbridge and Basildon, but cannot provide a service to Southend due to the closure.
The closure is scheduled to be in place until Wednesday, March 6, according to one.network.
The road appears to be shut from the High Street to Love Lane.
