A CANNABIS farm worth £250,000 has been uncovered in Hockley with hundreds of plants seized.
Officers from the Operation Falcon team at Essex Police responded to a “community contact” which resulted in their attendance to an industrial estate, in Hockley.
Following enquiries, Essex Police were able to locate and recover more than 250 cannabis plants and 250 seedlings from a unit at the Foundry Industrial Estate, in Station Approach.

This has an estimated street value of around £250,000.
A spokesman for Essex Police Rochford District team said: “This could not have been achieved without our community being confident in us and taking the time to speak up.
“Enquiries continue and incident EP-20240301-0158 refers.”
Operation Falcon officers are dedicated to tackling drugs in the south of our county as well as dismantling organised crime groups.
