TRAFFIC is building this afternoon as part of a major south Essex road is closed after a breakdown.
One lane is closed Southend-bound on the Pitsea Flyover due to a breakdown, according to Essex County Council's traffic control.

There is currently congestion back to Five Bells Interchange (A176).
AA traffic updates is reporting delays of nine minutes which are increasing on the major road Southend-bound, with an average speed of ten miles per hour.
