Essex Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious assault on New Years Eve in Rayleigh that left a man with "life-changing injuries".
Officers were called to Rayleigh High Street at around 1.40am on Sunday, December 31 following reports of a man being seriously assaulted.
The victim was punched in the face, causing him to fall and hit his head. The victim has sustained life-changing injuries after the injury caused a blood clot on the brain.
Detectives from Castle Point and Rochford CID are now releasing images of two men who they would like to speak with, in connection with this investigation.
