Traffic is building on a key route in Southend this afternoon as part of the road is closed.
The A127 Victoria Avenue is closed Southend-bound due to a crash between Fairfax Drive and the B1015, according to Essex County Council's traffic control.

Delays are also affected by the nearby closure of Queensway to Victoria Avenue and the Queensway Underpass, with traffic very slow on all surrounding routes.
Emergency services have been contacted for comment.
