THERE are just eight days left to enter to play the April Postcode Lottery draws with £24.7million set to be won.
For our residents considering entering the People's Postcode Lottery next month we’ve rounded up the "luckiest" postcodes according to the lottery map in south Essex - and everything won in them.
Canvey
SS8
Canvey's SS8 postcode seems to be the luckiest in south Essex, with SS8 7 most recently scooping the biggest ever Postcode Lottery prize.
More than 790 people shared a £17.3million prize pot in December 2023's Postcode Millions draw.
Eleven residents celebrated the biggest cash prizes after their postcode - SS8 7EE - was announced as the full winning postcode. Two people playing with two tickets each bagged a whopping £809,020.
In July 2021, SS8 0EA won a combined £180,000, with four residents getting £30,000 and another lucky neighbour who bought two tickets winning £60,000. Amazingly, that same month the postcode also landed a £1,000 prize.
Three years earlier, in May 2018, their neighbours in SS8 0HS shared a prize pot of £30,000.
Basildon borough
SS13 2
Cheers and champagne corks popping could be heard across Pitsea, North Benfleet and Bowers Gifford in November 2014 when the SS13 2 postcode won a shared £2million.
A total of 89 players shared the huge draw in the Postcode Millions event, which saw one resident in the full wining postcode - SS13 2LU - take home a £400,000 cheque.
SS14 2RA
Three lucky residents in The Fremnells were celebrating in October 2016 after winning a combined £100,000 in the People's Postcode Lottery's Saturday Street Prize draw. One winner, who played with two tickets, scooped a whopping £50,000.
Brentwood borough
CM14 5
A huge 70 lucky Warley residents shared a huge £2million prize pot as the CM14 5 postcode won in the August Postcode Millions in 2014.
Four residents shared £1million when their postcode, CM14 5EG, was revealed as the full winning postcode.
Rochford district
SS4 3AS
Christmas came early for SS4 3AS players who won a combined £550,000 in December 2020, each landing £50,000. One lucky winner won an incredible £100,000 thanks to playing with two tickets.
SS5 6PG
Residents in this Hullbridge postcode found out they were £30,000 richer in March 2021 in a video call with presenter Jeff Brazier, as they shared a £60,000 prize pot
Southend borough
SS3 9SJ
Four Shoebury neighbours celebrated in November 2020 after winning a shared £150,000 in the Postcode Lottery's Sunday Street Prize draw. One resident doubled their prize to £60,000 after playing with two tickets.
SS9 2AP
Two lucky Leigh neighbours landed a staggering £30,000 each after winning the Sunday's Street Prize in August 2018.
SS9 4SR
One Leigh player in this postcode couldn't believe her luck in June 2017 after winning £50,000 as well as a new BMW with People's Postcode Lottery.
Thurrock district
SS17 0JP
One lucky winner in this Stanford-le-Hope postcode bagged a fantastic £30,000 as a winner of Sunday's Street Prize in August 2020.
